WWL-AM WINS TOP HONORS AT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS MARCONI RADIO AWARDS

Bala Cynwyd, PA (September 28, 2007) – Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) announced today that New Orleans station WWL-AM received a record number of awards at the 2007 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show.

"We are honored to receive this noteworthy recognition from the NAB, and we are deeply grateful to work with the WWL team – one of the best in the entire radio industry," said David J. Field, President and CEO. "We salute WWL-AM, a station that became a lifeline to New Orleans' residents during and after Hurricane Katrina, and continues to play an integral role in the lives of listeners throughout the city."

WWL-AM won Marconi Awards in each of the three categories for which it was nominated: "Medium Market Station of the Year," "News/Talk Station of the Year" and the most prestigious award for "Legendary Station of the Year."

In 2005, the station received accolades and national media attention from CNN, MSNBC, Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times for its live, in-depth reporting throughout Hurricane Katrina and its post-hurricane emergency coverage. Today, WWL-AM continues to report on re-building efforts in the Gulf Coast region with local news and talk programming.

Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards recognize radio's outstanding personalities and stations in 21 categories.
