Brightly decorated streetcar sculptures are starting to appear all over town. It's the Young Leadership Council's "Streetcar Named Inspire" public art project.
Many of them in New Orleans. Some are already in place There is one on the Julia Street pedestrian mall near Harrah's. They will also be in the suburbs.
"Metairie and the northshore -- Lakeside shopping center will have one, so you'll see them pop up here and there throughout metro New Orleans," said YLC Executive Director Amy Boyle.

The YLC has sold just under a hundred of them so far, and hope to sell a hundred more by the end of May.
"Businesses that are interested can call us," said Boyle.
