Slidell Police report busting a man who allegedly stole identities of dozens of people locally, by digging personal information out of trash and mail boxes.
Slidell Police Chief Freddy Drennan says the suspect got blank credit cards, programmed them with his victims data and put his own name on them.
"During the arrest, he had approximately about $10,000 worth of high tech items he had purchased such as flat screen TV's and computers," said Drennan.
The US Secret Service helped to investigate the case. |
