Shinn: " Why would we want to leave this?"

The owner of the Hornets is excited about tonight's playoff game at the New Orleans Arena. "It's going to be incredible," George Shinn told reporters. "Tonight is probably going to be one of the most electrifying night's we've ever witnessed."

As the Hornets prepare to try and win their first playoff series since moving to New Orleans, Shinn is also thanking fans for the way things have gone this season.   He said, "It's been amazing that in a football town, people have fallen in love with the round ball. It's been great... Why would we want to leave this?"

The response came to a question about the Hornets' long term plans. "We're committed to make it work here. I mean, how 'bout the fans bonding to this team," Shinn added.
