Voters in Orleans Parish voters have renewed four tax millages for the Orleans Parish Public Schools. The measures were overwhelmingly approved.

Residents of the Timberlane subdivision approved a measure that will incorporate Timberlane into the city of Gretna. Some residents of the residents Bellemeade subdivision feared that the incorporation would lead to Timberlane residents blocking road in Timberlane, sending more traffic into the Bellemeade.

In St. John Parish, residents voted down a proposal to incorporate the Garyville area.

Voters in Tangipahoa Parish voted overwhelmingly to approve the renewal of one-cent parish-wide sales tax to fund government operations.
