Hornets fans to swarm on both sides of the lake

Hornets fans who won't be in San Antonio for tonight's big game, can still get their game on at two "Hornets Watch Parties." The get-togethers are being held on both sides of the lake.

The true Teal And Gold fans can show their colors with other fans tonight at Gordon Biersch, 200 Poydras on the southshore...and on the northshore, at WOW Cafe and Wingery on Gause Blvd. in Slidell. Both parties start at 7:30. Previous parties have been a hit. "They have been a huge success so far. We've had great turnouts both on the northshore and the southshore," says Hornets spokeswoman Brittany Cranston.

Hugo and Honeybees will be making appearances at both parties to cheer on the Hornets in Game 6 of the second round. The parties will feature giveaways, prizes, interactive games and food and drink specials. Weather permitting, Gordon Biersch will also show the game on large projection screens outside on Fulton Street.
