FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHRIS CLAUS NAMED VICE PRESIDENT/MARKET MANAGER OF ENTERCOM NEW ORLEANS

Ken Beck Assumes Expanded Corporate Role as Vice President of News/Talk Programming and Technical Operations

Bala Cynwyd, PA (December 17, 2007) - Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) announced today that Chris Claus has been named Vice President/Market Manager of its six radio stations in New Orleans, Louisiana (WWL-AM, WWL-FM, WKBU-FM, WLMG-FM, WEZB-FM and WWWL-AM), effective immediately. Concurrently, former New Orleans Market Manager Ken Beck will resume his prior role as Vice President of Entercom’s News/Talk Programming, as well as oversee the company’s technical operations.

Claus(left) is a 25-year broadcasting veteran. He began his career working for Fort Wayne, Indiana’s legendary News/Talk station, WOWO-AM, and has since served as Vice President/General Manager of numerous stations throughout the country, including San Diego (KJQY-FM), Los Angeles (All-News KFWB-AM and KTWV-FM) and Philadelphia (News/Talk WPHT-AM and WOGL-FM).

In making the announcement, Entercom Regional Vice President Deborah Kane said, "Chris has a long track record of working with some of the country’s best radio stations. His extensive News/Talk/Sports experience makes him the perfect candidate to lead the WWL franchise, as well as our other market dominant brands, to new levels. Chris’ inclusive leadership style will quickly set new standards for an organization that is, no doubt, battle tested and ready to continue doing great things."

Kane continued, "At the same time, we welcome Ken Beck(Right) back to his corporate role as Vice President of News/Talk Programming, and we thank him for the wonderful work he has done in making Entercom New Orleans a best-in-class cluster of radio stations in the post-Katrina period. Ken has been an integral part of establishing WWL as a critical touchstone for people throughout the region. We could never have undertaken such vital and on-going rebuilding efforts without his leadership."

Reflecting on his new position, Chris Claus noted, "I am proud of the long heritage of Entercom New Orleans, including the significant role renowned News/Talk leader WWL played during and after Hurricane Katrina. Even more importantly, I am excited to become part of the rebuilding and rebirth of this great city."
