Carville and Matalin to speak at Tulane graduation

Tomorrow morning, the 2,100 seniors at Tulane's graduation commencement ceremonies will for the first time hear two commencement speeches.

National political commentators James Carville and Mary Matalin will be the speakers. This is the first time the Tulane ceremony has featured more than one speaker.

"We looked back, and we can't remember having two, let along a married couple," said school spokesman Mike Strecker. "It's a first, that's for sure."

Strecker says the 9AM at the Superdome is open to the public. Doors open at 7:30.
