Brisk season ticket sales for next Hornets season

The New Orleans Hornets are already reaping the benefits of a strong post-season run.

Hornets spokesman Harold Kaufman says that the excitement surrounding the Hornets' dominating playoff wins has led to sales of 2,300 new season tickets for next season.

Kaufman says the spike in ticket sales comes even before the traditional summer marketing campaign.

"To be in the position has been a great situation for the organization," said Kaufman. "In addition to the season ticket sales, we are close to 90% renewal (for current ticket holders) for next year."
