Gasoline prices in New Orleans took a jump over the weekend.

AAA says the average cost of regular climbed to more than $3.63 per gallon Monday.

That's 7 cents in increases since Friday and a new all time record high price for the region.

The current cost in 35 cents more than it was a month ago and 77 cents higher than the price at this time last year.
